Consecration

In this episode, the Crone & Sage discuss how formal consecration of items we may end up with for our rituals and magick isn’t necessary because we believe that everything is already sacred. However, we also think that items carry energy “imprints” from their travels before they end up with us and that these items can benefit from a period of acclimation before being used. Whether they choose to keep these energies, such as something a maker has brought to an item through their creating, or discard those that don’t mesh with their own nature, giving them time to figure that out can be beneficial.
