Swan was rescued from the kill list when Eartha’s daughter chose to foster her, giving her a second chance at life. At first, Swan was anxious and full of zoomies, unsure of her place in the world. But through patience, obedience training, and mindful reassurance, her true personality emerged—friendly, loving, and deeply grateful.
As Swan settled into her new family, she reminded everyone that healing is mutual. She is grateful to be with them, and they are grateful to have her. Together, they show us how practice—whether mindfulness or compassion—can transform fear into trust and connection.
