Wound care is discussed with reference to wound care centers and also the use of hyperbaric oxygen to heal wounds. The rising costs of these modalities and of all medical treatments are discussed. The problem is that the best care is expensive.  It is very difficult to control the rising cost of US healthcare while delivering state of the art care even in an area as basic as wound care.
