There are over 21 million Veterans and I support veterans, I am a veteran and I hire veterans whenever possible. When I see or hear of Veterans being mistreated it makes me “mad as hell.” I understand that the president is “mad as hell,” about the mistreatment of our vets too, but I don’t think we have the same definition or passion for things. I for one know the service, sacrifice, and extent these men and women have and do go to to defend our country and what it means to them, to be one of them. I too like the President have raised my hand, sworn an oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic.

Our service members of the United States Of America Armed Forces past, present, and future write a check that in blood, sweat, tears, and volunteerism makes them the greatest fighting forces on the planet. They raise their hand and say individually, take me, I will go, I will go to the frontline and defend all for which I know is greater and larger than just me. I will go where, when, and as far as told and I will go do that that needs being done. I will go and give everything up to and including my own life to defend that that I raised my hand and gave an oath to defend. You see when we men and women of the Armed Forces raise our hand and say that oath – although none of us want to leave loved ones behind earlier than we should we KNOW that that possibility exists and that it might happen and yet we still go. The President – this President I don’t think has any clue to the extent of Duty that that takes and I honor every single brother and sister past, present, and future who proudly raise a hand and give the same oath. We just ask… Remember us, honor what we stood for to defend, and keep your promises to us when we return less something left behind on the battlefield.

Listen to this episode about how I feel our Veterans are being treated and the lack of leadership behind it. Be sure to honor the true meanings of what Memorial Day is about.
