Change is occurring, causing stress and uncertainty. In a world of advancing technology, it seems that one-on-one communication, conflict management, and collaboration “people skills” require more coaching for youngsters to develop their “soft skills.” During this episode, I invited Mrs. Ankita Swali, owner of iCode Stone Oak, as my special guest for this two-part episode. Mrs. Swali’s educational background makes her the perfect entrepreneur. As an elementary school teacher, Ankita shares her observations on the changes she has witnessed over the past five years in elementary and middle school children. Ankita embraces change, prepares for change, and exemplifies an openness to place a footprint on the future by taking her teaching career to a new level. She recognizes interpersonal and traditional skills must be nurtured for children’s future to be successful. Technology has metamorphosed into our current culture and evolved into a techno-world in how we do business, how education systems are scaffolded, and how the entertainment system draws the attention of the youth. I invite you to join me with an open mind in learning how technology is built using iCode, soft skills, and mindfulness.
