In Simcoe County Canada one particular school board safeguards their staff by having them carry bright orange blocker pads. These pads draw the attention of all who see them and act as much as an advertisement for the statement “DANGER THESE KIDS ARE AUTISTIC’ as they do for their intended purpose ‘protection of staff and fellow students’. Tina Curno Fougere, president and founder of the Canadian National Autism Foundation is outraged. She joins Lynette to rant but to also share ‘great tips on how to reduce violent outbursts’.
