Rochéle Lawson, RN, BSN, AHP, CMS specializes in the ancient Vedic healing science of Ayurveda and Yoga. She is the founder and owner of The Health, Healing & Wellness Company.

The Health, Healing & Wellness Company was founded in 2009 with a vision of providing Ayurvedic health and wellness therapies, holistic lifestyle management, meditation classes, stress management classes, yoga education, daily-routine products, body oils, and therapeutic body treatments to individuals interested in improving their health and well being in a holistic manner . Rochéle believes that health and wellness can be achieved holistically by anyone wanting to improve their lives by incorporating Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga practices.

Rochéle began her journey on her Ayurvedic path many years ago although at the time she did not know it. As a child she had a love for herbal tea especially the “special” herbal tea her grandmother would make for her when she had an upset stomach. As she grew older she learned a lot about herbs from her grandmother who she would later discover was an amateur herbologist. She also learned that the “special” tea that her grandmother would make for her upset stomach was ginger tea, which has been used to treat stomach ailments for centuries.

During her early twenties, Rochéle began to experiment more with herbs and natural remedies for taking care of the body. During her days in nursing school she spent just as much time studying prescription medications and she did studying the use of herbs and their effect on treating ailments in the body. This love for holistically treating the body grew as she began to study yoga and the effects that yoga has on the mind, body and soul.

Rochéle began to study, incorporate and apply Ayurveda practices into her everyday living. It was during this time that she realized that she had found the missing piece to complete the health component in her life. She realized that she could treat her mind, body and soul in a holistic manner by working with nature and incorporating Ayurveda into her daily lifestyle. This has deepened her meditation and yoga practices and she has improved her overall mental and physical health.

Ayurveda practices are close to the natural rhythms of nature and provide a door to understanding one’s physical body and mind.

Due to the positive benefits of Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga to both physical and mental health, Rochéle is committed to helping anyone that would like to improve their well in a holistic manner using the ancient Vedic practices.

Rochéle has a Bachelors Degree in Science in Nursing from San Jose State University, certification in Meditation and Emergency Room Nursing. She has a Master’s Degree in Ayurveda and is an avid student of yoga.
